Signing up for robotic lawn service with WALLE Corp is simpler than most people expect. There's no complex contract, no equipment to buy, and no learning curve. Here's exactly what happens from your first call to your first perfectly cut lawn.
Step 1: Get a Free Quote
Start by using our online estimator at walleondemand.ca/estimator or call us directly at 289-214-2087. We'll ask a few quick questions: your rough property size, your address, whether you have slopes or obstacles, and how often you'd like cuts. From there we can give you an accurate quote — usually within a few hours.
Already have a quote from a traditional lawn service? Use our Beat My Quote page at walleondemand.ca/bmq and we'll show you what autonomous mowing costs in comparison.
Step 2: Property Assessment & GPS Mapping
Once you're ready to proceed, we schedule a property visit. This is where the magic happens. Our team uses RTK GPS technology to map your lawn with centimetre-level precision — setting up the virtual boundaries, no-go zones, and mowing corridors for your specific property. We identify and document any obstacles: garden beds, trees, play equipment, irrigation heads, slopes. The whole setup typically takes an hour or two depending on property size.
Step 3: Your Schedule Is Set
We configure the mowing schedule to match your preferences and the season. Most residential properties in the Burlington area are serviced 1–2 times per week during peak growing season (May through October). You tell us your preferred days and any times you'd like the robot to avoid (school pickups, outdoor entertaining, etc.) and we build it around your life.
Step 4: The Robot Does the Work
From your first scheduled cut, the Yarbo runs autonomously. It mows, mulches the clippings back into your lawn (which naturally fertilizes the grass), and returns to its charging station when done. You don't need to be home. You don't need to do anything. We monitor the system remotely and respond to any alerts.
The mulching approach is actually better for your lawn than bagging — it returns nutrients to the soil and, because the robot cuts small amounts frequently, you never get the clumpy mess you see after a traditional weekly mow.
Step 5: We Handle Everything Else
Maintenance, blade checks, software updates, seasonal adjustments — all handled by us. If anything needs attention, we get an alert before you even notice. At the end of mowing season, we adjust your plan for winter and can seamlessly transition to our snow removal service if you'd like.
