How It Works
The FR4000 combines industrial-strength RTK satellite positioning with an RGB and stereo camera vision system. The dual-mode RTK supports both local base station (Wi-Fi connected, no data costs) and Network RTK via NTRIP, giving you centimetre-level accuracy even in challenging environments — under trees, near buildings, on slopes. Visual SLAM kicks in automatically in areas where RTK signal weakens, so mowing continues uninterrupted without losing position.
The dual-camera system does more than detect obstacles in real time — it recognises grass boundaries and mows right to the edge automatically, eliminating manual edge definition for most lawns. Over 100 object types are recognised and avoided without stopping. The FR4000 operates on a drop-and-go basis: set a zone anywhere, press start, and the mower navigates its own route. No charging station needed for spot jobs or disconnected areas. Up to 100 zones per unit. Fleet management via the app provides real-time location and status monitoring of every FR4000 unit across multiple sites globally.
