Service & support

Robot down? Let's get it running.

Factory-trained service for Yarbo, Segway Navimow and FJD Dynamics. Most faults are solved remotely the same day. If yours needs hands on it, we come to you across the Golden Horseshoe.

Try this first

Roughly half the calls we take are fixed in under five minutes. Open your symptom.

All brands It won't leave the dock
  1. Check the app for a paused or scheduled state. A finished schedule looks identical to a fault.
  2. Wipe the charging contacts on both the dock and the machine with a dry cloth. Corrosion here is the single most common cause.
  3. Confirm the dock has power at the outlet, not just at the plug.
  4. Hold the power button for a full restart, then send it out manually from the app.
  5. If it moves manually but not on schedule, the schedule needs rebuilding. That is a two-minute fix we can walk you through.

RTK / GNSS No satellite or RTK signal
  1. Look at the base station or antenna. Has anything grown, been parked, or been built between it and the sky since it last worked?
  2. Leaf-out in spring and heavy snow load on branches both break a line of sight that worked all last season.
  3. Restart the base station first, then the machine. Order matters, because the machine looks for the base on wake.
  4. Check the app for a firmware update on the base station, not just the mower.
  5. Note the exact wording of the signal error before you call. It tells us whether it is the base, the rover, or the correction service.

Cutting Cut quality has dropped off
  1. Blades are consumable. On most robots they need replacing every 6 to 10 weeks in season, sooner in sandy or twiggy yards.
  2. Power the machine fully off before you touch the deck. Blades stay sharp even when they cut badly.
  3. Check the underside for wrapped trimmer line, wire, or matted clippings around the spindle.
  4. Raise the cutting height one notch if the lawn has thickened up. Robots struggle when taking off too much at once.
  5. If it cuts clean in one area and rough in another, that is usually terrain rather than the machine. Worth a look on site.

Mapping It's leaving the boundary or missing zones
  1. Any change to the yard, such as a new bed, moved planter or new fence, needs the map updated. The machine will not infer it.
  2. Re-run the boundary for the affected zone only. You do not have to remap the whole property.
  3. Confirm the base station has not shifted. Even a small nudge rotates the entire map.
  4. Check that no-go zones did not get merged during the last app update.
  5. Send us the property name and zone and we can usually see the map issue from our end.

Battery Runtime dropped or it won't hold charge
  1. Compare against the same time last year, not against new. Every lithium pack fades, and the first season is the best it will ever be.
  2. Cold weather cuts runtime sharply and recovers on its own. Below about 5C, expect a real drop.
  3. Let it complete one full charge cycle uninterrupted before judging it.
  4. In the app, check the charge cycle count if your model reports it.
  5. Batteries are a warrantied part on most of what we sell. If it is genuinely failing, send the work order and we will file the claim.

Snow Snow blower won't clear or won't start
  1. Check the auger and chute for ice packed from the last melt-freeze. This is the number one winter call.
  2. Confirm the machine was stored above its minimum operating temperature. Cold-soaked packs will not wake up.
  3. Clear the dock area itself. If the dock is drifted in, the machine will not leave or return.
  4. Verify the snow module is properly seated and latched if you run a swappable system.
  5. During a storm, call or text instead of emailing. We prioritise live snow events.

How service works

No surprises. Here's what happens after you send the work order.

We diagnose remotely first

Most robots report enough through the app that we can pinpoint the fault without a truck roll. Remote diagnosis is free, and it is often the whole fix.

On-site across the Golden Horseshoe

Burlington, Oakville, Milton, Hamilton, Waterdown, Dundas, Ancaster, Stoney Creek, Grimsby, Mississauga and Halton Hills. Outside that, ask — we travel for commercial sites.

Warranty work is covered

If your machine is in warranty and the fault is covered by the manufacturer, parts and labour go through the warranty claim. We file it for you.

Shipped-in repair, anywhere in Canada

Bought direct and not local to us? Send the machine to our Burlington shop. We confirm the fault, quote the repair before touching it, and ship it back.

Still stuck, or not sure this is a service issue? Email us or call 416.848.0672 and we'll sort out which it is.
